I just forgot about a great auction

I was looking at a auction for a Swordquest Waterworld Comic book, instruction manual & Contest poster and all I had to do was get on the computer by 10:25 A.M. today and I could have had it. The three rare items sold for just $25.00, man I hate when I do this!!!!!!

I've had it happen a time or two as well. Sucks I come home and do something else not think about it, then check and it ends for well less than what I knew I would have paid. I saw that Waterworld set this morning, but I don't have the cart so no need to buy the manual & comics yet. There's a MIB copy up right now too, maybe you buy the whole thing and sell off the loose cart?

I already have a MIB copy of Waterworld, but what I wanted was that contest poster. I have 3 big picture frames for each of the swordquest contest posters and what I have done was frame 2 of each contest forms (one showing the front and one showing the back) and I have finished both Earthworld & fireworld, but I only have 1 Waterworld contest form in its frame, so I wanted that ebay auction to complete my set.

Well what you do is buy that CIB copy, then sell me the cart, box, instructions, and I'll let you keep the constest forms, & poster. I'm willing to go $100 on the cart, box & docs, that ought to work out right?

 

That was probably the perfect auction for you then, but I see cart with poster pop up sometimes to, might have to buy a cart with them, then resell it.

At a $150.00 thats not a bad price!!, I paid $230.00 for my MIB copy about 2 years ago, but I have other games and items to spend my money on right now!!

I was pretty bummed I missed this one too. I had no Internet access at the time of the auction end. Had i, it would have sold for more than it did. I wanted that poster.

Not me for sure. I haven't been buying any Atari stuff lately with the exception of a few common Lynx games I don't have.

 

I almost bought a MISB Air Raid for 2600 but my 56K modem was too slow to grab that BIN and CPU got that one instead.

I know retakke. I bought some very common games from him some time ago, he's from the Netherlands too. Really nice guy. I asked him if he was a member here, but he hadn't registerred (yet). I have seen him bidding 50 Euro on PAL Vader systems... He must have too much money Anyhow, he isn't much of a threath to me as I'm still perfectly happy with his leftovers

I agree, Marco is a nice chap. Had a few deals with him and many an E-mail. He's probably more of a threat to me than anyone else on E-bay .

The other person on the list who I know is Green_ren, again, many many e-mails and a few trades... .
