Wired article on Homestar RPG

Not sure if it's out in the US yet. My buddy that scanned it got a copy in the UK. I haven't been able to find a copy yet.

Oh. Regardless, I'll check Barnes & Noble tonight after work.

Offhand, does anyone know if Wired publishes a UK edition (as some mags do) or did the scan come from the US edition?

You can thank Chris Kohler for the write-up. I knew the guy back when he was in high school publishing video game newsletters. He's now a regular contributor to Wired, so I guess it's safe to say that he's hit the big time.

"Yes, the graphics are painfully blocky . . ."

I think I'm going to be hearing that on my death bed.

I don't usually buy Wired magazine (usually visit the web site though). Which month is it just in case it is not currently on the newstand?

It's the May issue, not the one with Peter Jackson on the cover. I haven't seen the cover yet.

The Chapmans are going to put a "coming soon" note on the website somewhere (probably in the store section).

Just wanted to verify that it's in the May issue, page 074, under a story about a new Transformers game for the PS2.

The cover has an apple on green leaves and says: "The Future of Food". Just got the issue in the mail today( subscription ). :)

Trotter recently told me that he's jealous. ;)

Went to my newstand today but they still have only the April issue. Will have to wait a few days I guess to get the May issue.

Note, this isn't the first time Wired has written a blurb about a classic game project.

There was a writeup about Stella Gets a New Brain (volume 1) in an issue circa 1996/97, the one with George Lucas on the cover.
