I saw it on IGN, they had an article of it... It's just like all the other controller to TV conversions that have been coming out just about every year... only this one is dedicated to paddle games, and looks to be just like real paddles...

Which is really cool, considering they keep putting paddle games on the joystick versions, and they end up sucking...

From what I've heard, the emulation on this one is supposed to be much more accurate than the other Jakks Pacific TV Games products. I also noticed in the IGN article that in addition to many Atari 2600 paddle games, there's also supposed to be "arcade Pong" and "Warlords arcade" included...sweet!

I'm just wondering why they're bothering to make separate one-player and two-player models. I personally think they should only produce the two-player version. Nearly every game on there (with the exception of Night Driver) supported two or more players in its original form, and some of those games are much better as multiplayer games than single-player. Having only the two-player model would emphasize the multiplayer appeal of those games, while still allowing the games to be enjoyed solo when another human opponent isn't available.

THAT IS PRETTY COOL.

HOWEVER, I WONDER IF IT WILL MAKE OUR COLLECTIONS LESS

RARE AND IMPORTANT? KIND OF LIKE A PAINTERS PAINTINGS ARE WORTH MORE AFTER THE PERSON DIES?

***waits for ANTHONY ATARI's collection to go up in value***

That looks a lot better than the prototype that was on the forum a month or so ago. Agreed that the 2 player will be the only way to go.

Thankfully they have made a really good game selection from what I read.

WARLORDS

Super Brakout

Breakout

Circus Atari

Night Driver

SteepleChase

Street Racer

Demons to Diamonds

Casino

Canyon Bomber
