video game addict #5 Posted April 25, 2004 I take that as a yes, I'm not wanting one, just curious, those have got to be pretty rare boxed? I've got some loose with the systems I've found, never seen a boxed one in the wild or browsing ebay, but I haven't really looked either. BTW, when do ya'll people sleep? I spy CPU, HH, and polvok1 all online, I know ya'll guys are behind me time wise, lol two of ya'll are on the west coast! Go to bed!
video game addict #6 Posted April 25, 2004 Inner boxed? To the system, or prepacked for resale type thing?
CPUWIZ #7 Posted April 25, 2004 System insert boxed, not retail outer boxed. Those are rare, a lot of people don't even know what the outer box looks like. And since it's my man APB, I practically gave it to him for peanuts, considering what he has done for me in the past. * goes to take a picture of a MIB one * EDIT: this is what a NIB retail one looks like. CincYnoTi #8 Posted April 25, 2004 i have a couple of those retail boxes. VERY hard to come by. but i thought the generic box that you find on ebay was just that...a generic box the seller found to make it convenient to ship the item in. has someone opened a new VA II and found these same generic boxes on the inside? or are we just assuming this is what is inside? guess i'll have to go check my VA II to see what's inside. If you really had a new in the box one like that, you would know that the brown box inside is identical to the one that guy on eBay has (which I believe he is out of know). FYI, I sold it to him for much less than what that guy charges.
video game addict #11 Posted April 25, 2004 CPUWIZ has made the Pitbull cry with the love that was shown  THANKS BRO!!!!! Big sissy! :hides: Sorry to keep clogging up this thread, but what of the original CX40 Sears versions? I saw an auction recently that had one of them in it, boxed. I believe anyway, was a dark picture. Probably not the hex disc version, but cx-40 still with Sears box?

FYI, I sold it to him for much less than what that guy charges. i checked the couple boxed VAII's i have. none were new when i received them though. i found three different cardboard box packins. one is the size of the VAII controller. the second is about 2 inches longer, maybe the RF switch plus other misc junk went in there. the third was a white cardboard box for the VAII power supply. acutally, there was another cardboard packin, which was what the VAII unit itself came in. anyone have a photo of what a complete VAII looked like when you opened a brand new box? the photo of the power supply in the manual shows "Sears Video Arcade II" imprinted on the power supply. but the PS i have says Atari on it instead. is there a VAII power supply like the one in the manual? more digging required, but i do have a power supply that has "Sears Video Arcade" on it. but i think that was for the second generation 6-switch or 4-switch model.
