Going on long road trip...need lynx games

Recommended Posts

I've had a Lynx since Christmas and haven't gotten around to buying more games yet. (the only one I have is California Games, which is fun but gets old quickly) . I am going on a long road trip soon and I want some games that I can spend a lot of time playing. I'm thinking Shanghai but I need others. If you have a game that was suggested, and would like to sell it, please PM me for how much you want. Thanks a lot.

I don't have any games available to sell you (I gave all my doubles and my second Lynx to a friend for Christmas), but I recommend checking out Ebay and buying an inexpensive lot of games.

Many of my favorite games for the Lynx (Xybots, Rampart, Chip's Challenge, Crystal Mines II) can be found in cheap lots (sometimes like 10 different carts for $15) on Ebay. Others, like Shanghai, Klax, and Gates of Zendocon, can be found pretty inexpensively as well. I completely recommend Shanghai if you can get it, but don't pass over some of the good really cheap games.

Chip's Challenge is the sort of game you can play for as long as the batteries can last. It's a fantastic arcade puzzle game whith a huge number of deifferent levels to solve.

Best of all its one of the cheapest to buy.

Indeed, no Lynx is complete without Chip's Challenge

It depends on the mode of transportation. If you are taking a car and get prone to car sickness like I do, I say stay away from puzzle games. You will be using your brain so much it might be puke city. You want to have a mindless shooter like a Roadblasters, Raiden or a Zarlor Mercernary. Maybe a Gates of Zendocon or nice Paperboy session. If you are taking the plane, then go right ahead. A puzzle game will make the time go by really fast. If you want to get good sleep on the trip, I suggest A few minutes of Turbo Sub, Gauntlet, Switchblade or Robosquash. They are so repetitive and dull thay are better than hypnotism.

Have a nice trip.
