Whisper #2 Posted April 28, 2004 Haha, a great late Aprils fools joke I do love the concept though, to make a Mac-like Atari. Even though I'm not a Mac fan. Man, if such cases were sold commercially I'd get one for my Vader system.
joeybastard #3 Posted April 28, 2004 Well it's just as ugly as the original iMacs. I'll stick to woodgrain

Whisper #5 Posted April 28, 2004 Well it's just as ugly as the original iMacs. I'll stick to woodgrain True, I would never swap cases with a woody. But for a Vader system it's tempting Man.. look at me, I don't even like iMacs...
Susuwatari #6 Posted April 28, 2004 Hmmm... 1 can white spray paint 1 can cyan spray paint 1 roll of masking tape Some reisen kit to make transparent joystick and paddles... I could see big bucks on eBay over this. Now if anyone can explain how to make sold moulded joystick boot, I'd be all set. Hard mould is easy to make (plenety of web site on DIY injection moulding) but soft plastic is another matter.
Mindfield #7 Posted April 28, 2004 The mould process would probably be the same, except you'd use translucent rubber or vinyl somesuch instead of plastic. I've actually been tossing around the idea of making an iTari-type thing for the last month or two.
AtariDude #8 Posted April 29, 2004 If you ever get a program called PhotoJam Deluxe, you should set your picture to inverse video. I did that to one of the pictures that contained a 2600 and it looked similar to that picture in the photo.
AtariYoungin #9 Posted April 29, 2004 Microsoft paint can invert colors too...just hit Ctrl+I and walla.
Whisper #10 Posted April 29, 2004 Heh yeah, I noticed that they probably did that with the iTari joystick. The shadow on the rubber seems unnatural. Anyhow, it's not like white and blue paint will get you there. I'm talking transparent white and blue plastic here A paint job could easily be done, but would be ugly IMO, like that John Deere inspired 2600 I saw a pic of once.
