Anyone got a spare Famicom-to-NES adapter?

Recommended Posts

I only own one Famicom cart, but I wouldn't mind actually playing it on my NES for once. I've tried cracking open old Gyromite and Hogan's Alley carts, but to no avail. :(

What does it look like? I have a gold colored adapter called Honey Bee that has an orange 63 in 1 cart that connects to it. The cart has a strange picture of the Ghostbusters on it, from the original cartoon. The cart also has Japanese printing on the front and back. The upper right corner of the cart has NTDE then the PAC-MAN character embossed on it. :)

That is one :) , but not out of a cart.

How much do you want for the Bee one???

PS: I have a Famicom system, with Sega like controllers, and one like a NES Advantage Joystick controll. I am looking for 50 + shipping :)

I don't know what it is worth to be honest, plus it was something that I was more interested in learning about. I've had it for years but never knew what it was.

It does work and the games are pretty odd on the 63 in 1 cart.

So, what is it worth and when were these produced?

Apparently the ones with the adaptors inside are slightly heavier than the average US cart.

Try figuring that out, though, when you've got a stack of Gyromite carts. How do you know if they're all heavy, or all light? It's REALLY tough.

Forget Gyromite, I went through around 20 of them and didn't find one. I did have 100% sucess rate finding an adapter in Stackup though. (only 2 Stackup in the wild so that statics may be slightly off )

Back to the OP, I have quite a few of them as I found a better way than by weight. Right now I have Duck Hunt, Horgan's Alley, Pinball, etc. although all I can find right now is Horgan's Alley (bad label, lots of "autographs" on the cart). Want it?

What's this "better way"? Do tell us!
