Zaxxon #3 Posted April 29, 2004 Does anyone know what were all the colors these cabinets came in? I've seen red sparkle, blue sparkle?
NovaXpress #4 Posted April 29, 2004 I've also seen solid yellow. That cabinet was in a LOT of 70s sci-fi movies.
bjk7382 #5 Posted April 30, 2004 There is also a green sparkle one. I have a picture of the yellow one on my hardrive. Don't remember where I got it from.
Gregory DG #6 Posted April 30, 2004 I was just watching Soylent Green the other day. There was a white one in that movie.
Brian D. Deuel #7 Posted April 30, 2004 I was just watching Soylent Green the other day. There was a white one in that movie. It was painted white for that movie only...
Cassidy Nolen #8 Posted April 30, 2004 Wonder what happened to that white one? That would be a true find...probably sat on some sound stage for 20 years and got smashed.... People, its made of people! The colors I know of were (single player) red and blue sparkle, flat yellow and a (dual player only) green sparkle. BTW, I am pretty sure that yellow one is Jerry Jessup's, and IIRC, it is serial number 1. It is really wild to see it in that condition. Adrian M #9 Posted April 30, 2004 Looks like whoever owned this particular unit added a standard arcade cherry-switch button to the control panel. (top left, next to the "Computer Space" panel)
chadtower #10 Posted April 30, 2004 I'm betting that's a freeplay button.
Adrian M #11 Posted April 30, 2004 I'm betting that's a freeplay button. Hehe! I just re-read the description and yep, that sounds like the freeplay button! Too bad they added it though. Kind of ruins the original look of the panel a bit. I'd love to buy this, but why must it be located in CANADA of all places???
chadtower #12 Posted April 30, 2004 If I owned a vehicle suitable for moving it myself I would consider it... but the hassle of renting a vehicle, paying for mileage, etc just makes it the same cost as having the thing shipped.
Saikyo #13 Posted May 1, 2004 I only thought there was a red one till now does any one know where there is a picture of a green one?
tyranthraxus #14 Posted May 1, 2004 I'd love to buy this, but why must it be located in CANADA of all places??? And its in my city! Too bad its price is spirally out of what I could pay. Not too big a deal since there is record store here that has it and pong for freeplay in their store.
