rogueleader #1 Posted April 29, 2004 And some people think collecting old games is strange.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW Collectors item? Add to your collection? That brings up a good question, what is the strangest thing you have ever heard of someone collecting?
sku_u #2 Posted April 29, 2004 There's a lady who collects potato chips shaped like people. I think that's pretty strange.
povlok1 #3 Posted April 29, 2004 This is the perfect opportunity to buy these diapers for your bedwetter (bedwetting child) or just to keep in your collection WTF??
pmpddytim #4 Posted April 29, 2004 There is a museum in Iceland or Greenland (I cant remember) but its collection consists entirely of peni (is that the plural of penis?). They have almost every species and even have a man who has agreed to donate his after he dies. Now thats strange. "Come on kids lets go look at the cock museum!" -Tim

christianscott27 #6 Posted April 29, 2004 i dunno i'm a kindered sooul to any collector, my game room is excessive enough to make anyone not on these boards think "weirdo". its hard to imagine the diaper collection though, child toys yes but diapers? on the the topic of weird collections one of the best exhibits i ever saw was in DC at the national archives, it was called "dear mr.president". the collection was made up of things people had unsolictedly mailed to the whitehouse over the years, not the ceremonial gifts of state but just the weird folk art fans sent to the presidents. there was a peanut person diorama of carters inaguration, a picture of reagan made of jelly beans...you get the idea. MegaManFan #8 Posted April 29, 2004 i dunno i'm a kindered sooul to any collector, my game room is excessive enough to make anyone not on these boards think "weirdo". You might think so Chris, but none of my friends who aren't gamers or AA members look at my rec room and say "weirdo." They usually say "impressive!" or "hey do you have.." or "would you mind if I played something?"
Whisper #9 Posted April 29, 2004 My friends usually call me weirdo. They are not impressed by the great gameplay or the wonderful woodgrain
InanimateCarbonRod #10 Posted April 29, 2004 My co-workers think I'm nuts when I mention Atari or show them my website with Atari stuff on it. They go "Atari?" I say "yeah, Atari". They say "spend some more money and upgrade to PS2". I say "Well, actually, I've spent much more than the cost of a PS2 on my atari collection and I DON"T WANT a PS2" Oh well, screw them, more Atari Stuff for me! Stingray #11 Posted April 29, 2004 My friends are generally far more impressed by my MAME cab than my old consoles. However, invariably someone will ask if I have a specific game. -S
Whisper #12 Posted April 29, 2004 Haha, it seems that InanimateCarbonRod and I have the same friends, weird, because we live of different sides of that big pond
