Rolling screen, mod problems

I did the stereo mod and the composite video mod on my heavy-6er telegames unit and I am quite satisfied with the results except for the fact that, THE SCREEN ROLLS!

The colors are correct and all but the screen continuously rolls from bottom to top. I did everything right and I don't know why this is happening.

It didn't do this with RF, any ideas?

Also did only some games rolled or all game rolled? If it's just some games, your TV just may be a tad touchy.

Mitch, the mod that I used is this one.

 

Susuwatari, it happens with all games unless I run the video through an RF modulator.

That mod doesn't have any amplification of the video signal. Your TV probably can't handle the weaker signal. That mod will work on some TVs if they are more lenient about the signal strength. You can try running it through a VCR and see if that will boost it enough. The mod in the 2600 FAQ that uses the 4050 includes an amplification circuit, you could also try that one instead.
