video game addict #3 Posted May 6, 2004 97 F-150 I'd pick the Ford any day! I'd like to see some photos of the vette hauling home a couple arcade cabs after a day at the auction! LOL You can haul cabs on top right?

Stingray #8 Posted May 7, 2004 In a strange coincidence, my dad just called me and said he bought a 1985 Corvette last night, and from the description he gave me it sounds like his is the same color as yours. Funny old world. -S
Cassidy Nolen #9 Posted May 7, 2004 I have had some wierd offers on it. Stragest I can think of was a wedding ring and an Explorer....not sure if he wanted to marry me or just give me the ring..... At least there are some bidders. I was beginning to think the listing was wasted money (did you know its 40 buck minimum to list a car, and 40 more when you sell it?). I paid a little extra for the pics and the featured listing. Hope it pays off...... We will miss it, just completely impractical. The car deserves to be driven by someone who can spend time with it, nurture it, read to it, etc. Cassidy
BTHOTU #10 Posted May 7, 2004 Did I mention my F-150 was a V8
taxman #11 Posted May 7, 2004 Just curious why you wouldn't try autotrader.com? I am about to sell my car, but I would think the EBAY FVF would be too high. Plus with autotrader I think you pay $59 and it stays until it sells.
BTHOTU #12 Posted May 7, 2004 EBAY dosent charge a FVF, like he said just another 40 bucks.
BigFairy321 #13 Posted May 8, 2004 im still drooling........ just to get rid of my frustriation, i think i will take my V8 for a burl around the streets..................
Cassidy Nolen #14 Posted May 9, 2004 Looks like the ebay way is getting good exposure. 1700 views so far. Do not know, but think this might hit a more specific group of buyers, less joyriders, than the auto pages. I just bought a new toy, so I am VERY motivated to sell this one. If any of you guys are serious, make me an offer on it. I can work with you on the price Cassidy
dykesr #15 Posted May 9, 2004 Wow i didn't realize that Ebay took $80 when you listed and sold a car!! When you look at ebay htere are thousands of cars on there, just think how much money they aare making just on the Ebay Autos sefciotn alone?
