Heaven/TQA #1 Posted May 9, 2004 just got my xbox yesterday and i found the console really loud compared to PS2 & gamecube... is it just mine or is the xbox loud because of the pc hardware? i bought GTA double pack and i love vice city... cool is the intro with the C64 screen typing load"vice city" and press play on tape...then the depacker and the rockstar-logo in c64 screen.... that's really cool... does this appear on the ps2 version as well? And if it's brand new (manufactured this year) chances are it has the newer Phillips drive which sounds like a washing machine and the newer cooling fan which is very powerful but noisy. Heaven/TQA #8 Posted May 9, 2004 its build summer 2003... as the serial says and the manufactor date on the back... but its really strange... how loud this damned beast is... maybe M$ thought you gonna connect the xbox to your 5.1 system anyway... or wear headset for xbox live... now lets check how i can run homebrew stuff like c64 emu on it...
