Atariboy #4 Posted May 11, 2004 Why are you rolling your eyes at him? It was a simple question that deserved a nice answer.
Jasoco #5 Posted May 11, 2004 Because the Roll Eyes smiley was easier to access than the LOL one.

Atariboy #7 Posted May 11, 2004 Happens to us all. Its easy to catch when you're reading something right around April 1st, but when you don't see something until 6 weeks later, its easy not to even consider it being a joke and check the date. -Edit- Sorry for coming off harse there, I thought you were trying to be mean. Avid Fan #8 Posted May 11, 2004 Ya, I got fooled by the Lynx emulator for the Ngage, pissed me off. Now they need to develop one for the GBA
Max-T #9 Posted May 11, 2004 Yours was in no way ridiculous or stupid question, Draikar. An absolutely real incarnation of the "red-scanning NES" was released, jeez, has to have been well over two decades by now. If memory serves, the Adventurevision used a spinning mirror in order to focus the light into an image comprehensible by the human eye. It was really way ahead of its time. Unfortunately, since it was so far ahead of its time, I believe only a very few examples were produced before the corporation went bankrupt. And I believe only four ROMs were ever produced for the system. Still, it is a fascinating piece of technology, and yours truly only wishes he were wealthy enough to own an Adventurevision.
