I was wondering what the smeg you were on about when you said you had number 7, I always thought the Extremist packs had only reached number 3 (as in third edition). Now the penny has dropped.

Urgh no! Binary all the way for me... well, ok, my brain still thinks in decimal, but binary is second nature and I only consider powers of two to be round numbers these days .

You have a very good start, and the "extremist" packs (and the Alpine board ) prove your heart is in the right place, but you need to get the avast majority of released titles too, and at LEAST 2 Jaguars for networking with of course if you get two copies of Aircars and Battlesphere (or pick any pair of the 3 networkable games with 2 copies each), then, and only then will you be well on the way to BECOMING an extremist. This is where I am at, JaySmith2000 is pretty much the king of extremist right now though...

 

So, how much of the regular Jaguar library do you have now? And do you have more than one Jag?

and about 15-20 games - I won't buy something unless I think I'll find it fun. I don't have them all here either, so I can't really inventory them very well...I think I have all the JagCDs bar Baldies though.

 

Anyway, collections should be measured by what's hard to get

I know you don't care for Battlesphere, especially at the prices it fetches, but Aircars is dirt cheap now in comparison to the originals, and Doom is pretty cheap...

Speaking of extremists, I also have all three of the Extremist packs now(#3-46/100), and Ocean Depths and Painter. So basically all the DVD cased releases so far. I am also the proud owner of a BJL Jaguar now too, as of today, so I'm back up to 3 working Jag's and my Stubulator Jag that still needs repair. 3 of the four are K series with the ADC circuit, but one of those is the Stubulator Dev Jag. At some point I'll be modding the 4th Jaguar by adding the missing ADC circuit to it. I still need an Alpine board though...

I've got the same attitude, I have Doom and BS for networking, but have yet to get my 2-3 copies of aircars. I think it's just one of those things that you have to bite the bullet on and buy them even if you do have other things better to spend the money on, just to get it out of the way. But I've heard it is fun networked (hell, I enjoyed it solo), and BS and Doom just aren't enough, I need more networking games and since aircars is all that's left...
