Carrier Command

I think this is what it was called. It was one of my favourite early ST games along with bombjack and space harrier.

 

You had an aircraft carrier with planes and hover crafts to invade other islands. You won the game when defeating the bad carrier that roamed the seas aswell.

 

Any one else remember this game?

I remember hearing about it over and over by ST Format magazine. Seems it was quite popular.

 

I always wanted to get the sequel, Battle Command since it looked like a very cool tank simulator. Alas, when I played it a few months ago on STeem it had a very slow framerate. Guess I'm tainted by the 60 FPS I get from my PC these days.

I wasn't too impressed with Carrier Command when I bought it, I think I got it around 96' or so, played it on my Mega STe at the time...
