Shannon #7 Posted May 16, 2004 For anyone who has not noticed. The binary for this game was not included because it is an activision game. Activision has requested their games not be posted here at atari age.

bjk7382 #11 Posted May 17, 2004 Okay I got a better score and I snapped the picture earlier so it didn't go into "attract" mode. (so it still shows the level)

(so it still shows the level) I take it you've played this game before? One of my favorite games I like the 2600 version better. I can get 300k+ on that version. The 8bit computer version has extra motion in the flies and it makes a little tougher.

bjk7382 #17 Posted May 17, 2004 is there any trick for timing going down when those red rocks moves? they're really fast... any tip at all? devwebcl If your talking about the ones that move in and out from the walls, I just wait until they are closed and just ready to open and then start falling thru the middle of it. Sometimes if you know the next screen has this all you have to do is stop for a split second when you first come on the screen, and then drop thru the middle. Goochman #20 Posted May 18, 2004 hmmm ok so I didn't give up on this, I tried......but I SUCK AT IT!! Well, I've never gotten this far before anyway but now I've reached some walls that I can't blow up so I'm stuck.....any help?.....Please! /Troop OK some general tips here: 1. The walls that glow red you cannot touch but can destory with dynamite. 2. The walls you can destroy all look the same so if you fell down a hole with no way to get out then you need to go back up and find a different route 3. 99.9999999999% of the time you see a wall you can destroy indicates the path you should take. Usually you will hit a dead end if you dont go through a wall you can destroy. I got a bit higher - 52K but think I am maxed out - 200K is awesome BJK! Shannon #21 Posted May 18, 2004 Put me down for 69995. Boy this game really gets insanely hard when you get past level 9. Activision is evil. A little more practice and luck and I might be able to do better. At least this will prep me for when the 2600 HSC does HERO.
Shannon #22 Posted May 18, 2004 Some tips... Memorize - You should be able to remember at least the first 10 levels. Speed, speed, speed - The faster you finish the better To answer an earlier question you can shoot thru destructible walls if you run outta dynamite. Just keep on firing the wall will eventually decay. Stop -n- Go - When flying DOWN to the next screen, always press UP just before you reach the bottom so you can take a peek at what obstacles are there, then proceed. After a while you will be able to just stop, move right/left as needed and continue. Floating platforms - Once on this. I usually press and hold up as soon as I pass under the wall in the middle. If there is a flying creature on the other side press up sooner. Exit stage left, face right - If you exit on the far left, make sure you are facing right and the same for the other side. This makes it easier to kill anything that may be below. The exits towards the middle are a different story, this is where memorization and the stop-n-go tecknique work. Bada bing, bada BOOM - You cannot get killed by dynamite if you are flying/falling. Also you only need to step away from dynamite a little to be safe. Practice with this a little. You'll find it handy in tight spots. I think that about covers it for now.
