how much would you pay for a H.E.R.O.???

Recommended Posts

In my experience I'd say Tapper is easily a $30 cart, I've seen it go for more than $40 loose before.

The only copy of Spy Hunter I've ever seen is the one I own, and I paid $9 for it loose at PC2. Nice label, too. I realize I got a great deal on that, though. :)

Tapper in good condition is EASILY a $15+ game.  Its a 6 rarity and that is underrated.  Its also an incredible game.  You are most likely to find it $20+

Spy Hunter is harder to find and I've seen it low at $30.

adams_ale, I'd LOVE to know where you are buying these games that they are this cheap!  ebay?

:)

I just looked at the completed auctions on ebay for both of these titles. None of the Spy Hunter games sold for more than 20 and Tapper didn't go over 15. :)

They used to go for more money, but as of recently they have been selling for less.

Pengo goes for that much easily as well but someone here recently got one for $3.50 from ebay so I guess anything is possible. Its a rarity 6 too if memory serves and another one on my want list.

Again, both "Tapper" and "Spy Hunter" are pretty sought after carts. I'd think that the $20 to $30 range would be a pretty average eBay price for each.

I think that the standard cases on both of these are a bit harder to find than the grip cases too.

I personally don't care about which case I can get. Whichever is cheapest. I'm a cheap atari collector, I guess you could call that an oxy-moron.

(I used to think an oxy-moron was someone who didn't know how to use pimple cream properly, then I got a dictionary :D )

I think the thing with games like Tapper and Spy Hunter is that they are not only rare but they have the distinction of also being fun, a claim many of the rarer atari games can't make which makes them all the more sought after.
