Famicoman #1 Posted May 29, 2004 This gun for the PS2 is said to be the best of them all. One little (Okay, maybe big) question that I have is what games work with it? I know of Time Crisis 2 and 3 do. Also some dinosaur game I thought I saw an advertisement too. Anyone know of any other games?
Lastblade #2 Posted May 29, 2004 All the namco Gun games that came out for the PS2 supports the GunCon 2. Time Crisis 2 and 3 Ninja Assault Vampire Night I think there are a few 3rd party gun game that supports it, but I am not 100% certain: End Game Resident Evil Dead Aim (this game sucks from what I gather) Keep in mind that you can't use Guncon2 with the PSOne guncon games (like Time Crisis 1 and Project Titan, or any of the ultra fun Point Blank games)
Sega Ages #3 Posted May 30, 2004 As a big GunCon 2 fan, I'll group the major ps2 games into "Best" and "Rest"... BEST (all of these are superb): Vampire Night Time Crisis 2 Time Crisis 3 Resident Evil: Dead Aim Crisis Zone (coming soon) REST (these range from decent to poor): Endgame Ninja Assault Gun Survivor 2: Code Veronica X Dino Stalker The GunCon 2 is the greatest home lightgun ever... an absolutely beautiful piece of gaming hardware. It is good to note that the GunCon 2 comes in several different colors depending on what part of the world you import it from and what bundle you buy it in. I believe the colors available are Orange, Gray, Midnight Blue, and Pitch Black.
Mr.FoodMonster #4 Posted May 30, 2004 I'm surprized they have black ones, I thought they stopped making them normal colors so someone didnt mistake it for an actual gun. Yes, people have called the cops on people playing with toy guns that 'Looked Realistic' and the company usally got the shit end of the stick. Oh well. Yep, they aren't allowed in the U.S. though, only in Japan. Here is mine:

JB #8 Posted May 31, 2004 I'm surprized they have black ones, I thought they stopped making them normal colors so someone didnt mistake it for an actual gun. Yes, people have called the cops on people playing with toy guns that 'Looked Realistic' and the company usally got the shit end of the stick. Oh well.Actually, it's because cops shot a few kids that pulled toy guns on them. Sounds bad, but it's an understandable response. They aren't trained to look for plastic seams when someone pulls a gun on them, because that gets THEM shot. The law varies from state to state. In my area, a neon orange barrel tip is required. My Time Crisis 1 package had a gray guncon with an orange tip. And a sticker on the box that said "not for sale in California." My sister's Point Blank 3 box had a spraypainted orange gun and no sticker(the paint can be scraped off, but it'll be a pain to get it all...). So I believe the bright orange guns are California's fault.
CPUWIZ #9 Posted May 31, 2004 My sister's Point Blank 3 box had a spraypainted orange gun and no sticker(the paint can be scraped off, but it'll be a pain to get it all...). Wow, those were prototypes. You better hold onto that. So I believe the bright orange guns are California's fault. Yep.
JB #10 Posted June 1, 2004 My sister's Point Blank 3 box had a spraypainted orange gun and no sticker(the paint can be scraped off, but it'll be a pain to get it all...). Wow, those were prototypes. You better hold onto that. I assumed it was a retrofit, to make the existing stock of gray plastic guns sellable in California. Doesn't make sense to be a prototype, since the gray guncons were already out, and had been for some time. Not to mention this was bought new, on the shelf, in a store. Besides, if it were mine I'd be busy scraping the paint off. The orange is hideous.
DeV0 #11 Posted June 2, 2004 My original guncon is black with a small orange sticker near the tip, This has come off now. It seems that black guncons arent here anymore, Some 3rd party pistols look a hell of alot like real guns though
