I don't think Dreamcast SNK games were ever available at mass market super stores.

 

They were. In fact, my local Wal-Mart still has a few copies of KOF 99 Dream Match for the DC in some of their clearance racks (along with some N64 games).

awesome! thank you! I thought it was out of print again...this must be like the 3rd run of these...I checked a couple of places online not long ago and they were showing out of stock...i was afraid they would not not make any more.

That's a bit harsh. While it's not a machine as driven by exclusive content as, say, the Gamecube, there's some very impressive stuff on Xbox. Off the top of my head:- Crimson Skies, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Halo (which was exclusive for ages) and, even for games that aren't exclusive, the Xbox live content really makes some titles stand out.

There are plenty of good Xbox only titles on Microsoft's console. Blinx, Vodoo Vince, Steel Batallion, Knights of the Old Republic...just to name a few...

Yup. Supposed to be coming out sometime in the fall. I'm still not even halfway thru Slug 3 yet but I can't wait to get this one too. Is there such a thing as a bad Metal Slug game?

More robust in construction, eh? How so? I thought that aside from the blue buttons, the controllers were totally identical to the older ones.
