Adrian M #1 Posted June 7, 2004 Sounds good to me! http://xbox.gamespy.com/xbox/fable/521320p1.html Halo 2 will hit shortly after that! It's all good!
liquid_sky #2 Posted June 7, 2004 oh what a happy day. A bit dissapointed that the fully open endedness and multiplayer didnt make it, but I am sure that Mr. Molyneux (i cannot spell his name to save me) has good reasons.

moycon #4 Posted June 8, 2004 This is one game I have extremely high hopes for, I just hope it can deliver. One thing I can see ruining the experience for me is if it's just Morrowind with updated graphics. Personally I felt Morrowind moved too slooooooooow. Adrian M #5 Posted June 8, 2004 Personally I felt Morrowind moved too slooooooooow. That's how the elder scrolls games are...slow, deliberate experiences that emphasize the open-ended nature of their world. The PC version is exactly the same way. It was possible to start a character and level that character up without fighting randomly spawing green blobs for three hours. In Morrowind you actually level up just living, running, jumping and swimming. Of course if you just want to fight low level rats and whatnot then that option is still open to you although I think that way is kind of played out in RPG's. Hopefully Fable won't fall into the "green blob" cliche and offers me something different to play.
moycon #7 Posted June 8, 2004 Great, so I wouldn't like the PC version either, and I can now say I hope Fable isn't just like Morrowind (Xbox or PC version) with updated graphics. Thankfully, The movies of Fable don't appear to move at a snails pace, I think that alone makes it a better game, even if some of the things you actually do in the game (collect things, help someone find their way etc...) seem redundant to Morrowind the fact that the pace is quicker will make it tolerable and a better experience. If Morrowind was too slow for you, how did you ever manage to stay awake through all the dead time spent sailing from location to location?

Fear not Adrian M, You can put away the confused Emoticon and sleep well knowing that.... I cannot comment on Wind Walker as I do not own a GameCube or know anyone who's GameCube I could borrow to play Wind Waker...but rest assured, if it moves as slow as Morrowind... and gives the distinct impressions of lazily floating around an immense world performing somewhat mundane task, I probably wouldn't like that game either.
