K-Tel Question?

Is K-tel the same company who made all those cheap records and ect during the 70's, and how many games did they make for the 2600?.

 

Just when I thought I heard of all the company's that made games for the Atari 2600, I look on this site and find another one.

I'm pretty sure they are... I remember all their commercials back in the 80's. It's strange how many companies tried to jump on the bangwagon from out of nowhere. Hell, U.S. Games is (was) a subsidiary of Quaker Oats!

 

To sort of add some justice to the conversation, it's worth pointing out that most companies that just tried to cash in on the trend ended up making crappy games and going out of business
