ATARIPITBULL #1 Posted June 9, 2004 For the last 2 days when I have won an auction off of ebay and I go to pay for it using the paypal link, I get a message that says " Unable to combine paypal payments right now" am I the only person this is happening to? or does anyone else get this message right now? highinfidelity #2 Posted June 9, 2004 I don't see it in the announcements (but I've seen that they changed some of the cathegories in the meanwhile: new hot threads against eBay coming, I guess ) and I don't have any item to pay right now. What if you go to paypal.com and apply for the payment manually?
Whisper #3 Posted June 9, 2004 Used the "pay now" function for an item a few minutes ago. Worked ok.

holygrailvideogames.com #5 Posted June 9, 2004 It happened to me yesterday. I had to wait several hours to pay for an item.

ATARIPITBULL #8 Posted June 9, 2004 Now I know there is something wrong with Ebays link to paypal, I tried using the link 2 times and on the 3rd try it worked, but when I tried it for another auction I had to pay for, again it said problems combining payments with Paypal. I emailed them and they said they will get back to me on it in 72 hours.
ATARIPITBULL #9 Posted June 11, 2004 I just received this letter from Ebay about the payment link problem: To remove the checkmark for keeping your self signed in and logging on like normal, this should clear up the problem. I am one of those guys who hates logging on all the time, so I left the keep me signed in check on.
sku_u #10 Posted June 11, 2004 I've been having direct link problems with two aspects of Ebay lately. First, paying for something through Ebay, like many of you I've had to do it directly through Paypal, and secondly, and an even greater pain in the ass is that I'll receive those awconfirm emails from people I bought an item from, but when I open the email, there's nothing there. Their aggressive spam filters often block content from automated web confirmation forms, and they don't care whether you want it or not...

The account attached to ebay and paypal is a yahoo address. This problem has only been happening recently.
