Tails on the original comic released in Japan was a Girl.

 

I heard that in the original release of the sonic the hedgehog comic featured tails as a girl. It there any truth to this? I would appreciate a picture form the Japanese comic.

Being that his name is Miles "Tails" Prower, I would find this exceptionally strange if it's true

Yeah but you have got to remember the name "Miles" even though it's a man's

name was not intended originally as that.

 

Just like "Sonic" is a speed like name "Miles" was meant to be a distance like name.

 

I dont actually think the original creator of the character even knew that

such name actuallt existed!

 

Also I found it highly strange when I watched an episode of the TV Show and

she was referred to as "She" as I always thought that Tails was a girl.

Considering the game originated in Japan, if it was to mean "speed" and "distance," I'm surprised they didn't pick a name that wasn't specific to America, especially if the original creator of the game didn't know that such a name existed.

From my understanding the cartoons sortof leaned toward he was a male. Even though this seems confused at times. Including the later released comics. I searched a little trying to find the original Japan comic and have had no luck yet. The only thing I found was that the orginal Japan comic was not a book. Just some 4 or 5 picture strip comic. Then was produced as a comic book. But no luck on finding either. All I keep running into is the American releases of the comics. I did find another message board talking about the same subject. But most of the post was gathering information off the cartoon and that lead to tails being male.

Tails is male. There has been a page from a doujin flying around the internet for years where Tails is actually female, and it falls apart into fucking furry pr0n from there.
