dykesr #2 Posted June 11, 2004 I foudn it but i could not justify bidding that much when i am so low on money i would have loved to have won that auction but congrats man. RD
bjk7382 #3 Posted June 11, 2004 I agree with dykster. Knowing what something is worth and being able to pay for what you bid on are two totally different things. I had it on my watchlist, but let it go due to being poor.
Brad2600 #4 Posted June 11, 2004 I saw it but didn't bid since I already have a Supercharger. I'm just looking for the games right now.

ATARIPITBULL #9 Posted June 11, 2004 Island was the only thing from that auction that I need, but I am holding out and saving up for the time a boxed copy will go up for bid. I have bad luck with buying a rare loose game and paying out the ass for it, then a boxed copy comes around a week later that sells for the same price I paid. IIRC, they were shipped out with the manuals in plastic bags.

[/quote'] I had the same thing happen to me, but with a NES game that's uncommon. Picked up a loose copy and then later in the day, found a BIN on a boxed copy for *slightly* more than what the loose copy costed me. It happens. SteveW #12 Posted June 11, 2004 Nope, Survival Island never had a box, it came in a baggie. On the Stella Gets A New Brain CD, they re-used some Dragonstomper art for Sword of Saros, and rendered a scene in Bryce 3D for the cover of Survival Island. Apparently, the games were done, but the art wasn't, by the time the videogame crash hit. A company inherited their inventory and sold it off by mail order, if I remember right. No boxes or nice instruction manuals for them.

wrldstrman #17 Posted June 11, 2004 Was a good deal...I love collecting as much as anyone else but I only spend a few minutes a week on Ebay looking ...Atari is fun but me personaly I cant see wasting my life on the computer watching for a good deal.. plus once I get one of something I dont bid on that item again.
