where to find arcade cabinates

im interested in making a MAME cabinet but i dont have the money for the case does anyone know good places where broken cabs are dumped.

post in the arcade/coin op newsgroups, i wouldnt mention your MAME idea though, they're a touchy lot. just say you're looking for a project cab, and remember, so much of getting a cheap/free cab is about YOU being able to pick it up at their convience.

 

you could also look in your yellow pages under coin-op/amusements and make some calls. these guys might have something for you in their warehouse.
