Games that do not work with the 2 port 5200?

Found out that Pitfall! does not work with the 2 port 5200 system, which i stupidly bought one of. : Does anyone know of the OTHER games that aren't going to work with the 2 port model???

I'm pretty sure Pitfall and Mountain King are the only ones. You can get a 4-bort chip which is pretty easy to install from one of the members here.

Crazy Shoot out is the other one that doesn't work with the 2 port model. But yes, if you can get the Bios chip from a 4 port model and stick it into your 2 port to replace it...you will have those games working again.

Probably. It was just shy of a million years ago, so I honestly don't remember. He was really cool and only charged me like 5 bucks. You would think I'd remember.....I'm just gettin' old.

I have a 4-port 5200 with no power supply that I don't mind removing a chip out of, and I just bought a 2-port 5200 working perfectly (except for the controllers, naturally). Which chip would I need to swap to make the 2-port work with Pitfall! and the others?

Call me crazy, but if you have something slightly rare like a 2-port, wouldn't you be happy?

 

Just buy a 4-port 5200 and use that.

 

I have an original 4-port and an originla 2-port in the box. The 4-port is unopened. I love the idea that, one day.. heeh, when I'm like 90, maybe someone will ask me to donate my wacked out collection to a museum or something!

 

I usually buy 1 of every system (loose) so that I can play the games.

 

I haven't found another XEGM system though...
