whats a Atari Diagnostic Cartridge

hey i got some Atari Diagnostic Cartridges no idea where they come from had them for ages found them last week in the attic just want to know what thay are and what there worth.

i have 2 carts and the extra connectors that u need to test various parts of the 2600 thay are all unopended and as new i have noidea where they came from but thay have been in the attic for a good few yeard

 

seem to be rairty 8 being sealded must make them quite sort after

 

and im thinking of parting with them no point putting them on ebay a lot of people wont know what they are so if anyone knows what tay are worth roughley id like to know

Did the diagnostic carts come with a box or packaging?

 

It would be nice to see a picture of these.

Unless they are a different rev then what is available them they really don't go for all that much.

The cart probably would go anywhere from $20-$50, while the loopback sets go for under $10.

And yes, a pic would be nice.

they dident come with the atari 2600 i got when i was younger thinking about it they must of been given to my dad but he has no use for any of the atari stuff so its been given to me

It is PAL though. And I just checked and AA doesn't have an entry for the pal version.

 

Still a great find for an attic.

If you are searching completed ebay auctions for pics, I would think you already have a fair idea what they are worth, so why the ? And why the pics off the desktop if they are off ebay?

im unable to take pics i have no cam, pics i found are the same and same condishion so i used them. seeing them on ebay made me decide i should fish mine out and see what there worth and if they are very sort after or not dident want to go by the ebay price wanted to try and get a more Accurate price for them shold of said where pics came from my bad on that one

It is extremely unlikely that anyone on here would be willing to buy them without actual pics of the actual carts.
