rogueleader #1 Posted June 26, 2004 Okay, so I bought Mega Man Anniversary Collection and as I pointed out in a previous thread the stupid buttons are reversed! The a button fires and the b button jumps. There is no way in the game to change the set up. I guess I could get used to it but I'm already tired of mega man falling down the pit when I hit the wrong button for a quick jump. So how hard would it be to reverse the buttons on a controler? Is there a way to make the a button the b button and visa versa? Thanks!
MegaManFan #2 Posted June 26, 2004 Do what I did, buy the PS2 version. It's much more natural, and when I'm done unlocking things on it, I'll go back to the Cube one I pe-ordered for a challenge. At least I got a sweet free Capcom shirt for my trouble.

Susuwatari #4 Posted June 26, 2004 It won't be easy to mod Nintendo controller, the entire board is covered in silkscreen so checking traces would be difficult. Just got a cheap 3rd party controller and try hacking from there. That way if you make a mistake, you won't be out $30. And when it works, you'd still have the original unmodded controller for other games. If the button function on GC are the same as oither controller, it'd be a matter of finding 2 traces to the 2 buttons you want reversed, cut those traces, and add a pair of wire to cross over the signal. Avid Fan #5 Posted June 26, 2004 I had this same problem when I was playing ORIGINAL Metroid on the cube. After a weekend of hardcore playing, you dont even notice. I've come to like it as it makes rapid firing a bit easier
