It took Ebay & Paypal to get me this game.

For those of you who do not go to the auction section, I had a month long battle with a seller who was not sending me my Boxed copy of Mines of Minos, I paid about $120.00 for it and the seller " hwima (Dixie Whorley) had at first sent the box to the wrong state even though she had my correct address, then I had not heard any more from her. I sent miss Dixie many emails asking for my game but no reply, so I filed complaints with Paypal & Ebay and that same day she apologized for her self and 3 days latter my game arrived.

I no longer sell thru Ebay due to being burned on reverse charges thru Paypal. I still buy items thru Ebay/Paypal and the few problems that I have had the Paypal complaint process cleared up.

It is a shame that you had to go through so much trouble to get the game. Glad to hear that you finally managed to get the game in the end but still, it stinks that you had to go through so many hoops to get what is rightfully yours.

That is nothing, 3 years ago, this scum bag seller took the $67.00 I paid him for a mint, loose copy of Crazy Climber and simply left ebay even though he had 57 good reviews on his account & only 1 bad.

Ouch. That is part of the reason that I don't buy things as much as I used to on eBay. Too many people who start out looking legit and then disappear. eBay really needs to make it easier to safeguard people from fraud.

Glad you got that sorted - I have had to turn up on someones doorstep to sort a 'problem' auction.

 

The UK is smaller than the States so it's a bit easier to do this I guess.

 

eBay horror stories really wind me up so I'm real glad she came thru'.
