FireTiger #1 Posted July 3, 2004 Are the lables just bad or is someone in the SE USA abusing Apollo labels.
nester #2 Posted July 3, 2004 Hey, I have the same problem. the end labels on both of my Apollo games came off. Perhaps it is because they were a small company without the money to make good labels.
Bruce Tomlin #3 Posted July 3, 2004 What I want to know is why Seaquest labels are always worn out where they bend over the edge of the cart. It's like this cart inspired little kids to insert and remove the cart thousands of times or something.

It's like this cart inspired little kids to insert and remove the cart thousands of times or something. I think that just proves Seaquest is a hell of a fun game. Now as far as the Apollo games...That I can't answer.
AtariDude #5 Posted July 3, 2004 Maybe I am lucky but the Apollo games that I have currently do not have a problem with their labels.
ATARIPITBULL #6 Posted July 3, 2004 I am only missing Guardian & Lochjaw, but all the others I have, including the regular color & Blue boxes are all fine, no labels falling off.
sku_u #7 Posted July 3, 2004 I have all the Apollo titles except Space Chase with the blue ribbon and Lochjaw. All of them have perfect or near perfect labels including my duplicates.
FireTiger #8 Posted July 3, 2004 Maybe all the Atari ppl around here snatched up all the good ones.
WildBillTX #9 Posted July 3, 2004 Most of the Apollo games I have survived with the labels intact. I bought a few of them in the mid-late 80's at toy and discount stores when they were trying to get rid of 2600 stuff cheap. Apollo was one of the worst 2600 game companies out there. Besides Spacechase did they release anything worthwhile?
Mindfield #10 Posted July 4, 2004 Most of the Apollo games I've come across have been in decent condition. I've only managed two that were missing their end labels. (A blue Space Chase and Raquetball. I still haven't gotten a replacement for Raquetball) I've never come across any that had terribly poor main labels, though.
