RIVER #1 Posted July 3, 2004 Is there a rarity guide for 2600 game manuals, if so where, if not then what would you say are the top 25 rarest or hardest to find 2600 game manuals and the fair market value to purchase them??
MattG/Snyper2099 #2 Posted July 4, 2004 As with games, rarity doesn't always dtermine value. For example, I'm fairly certain chase that chuckwagon instructions would sell for far more than Boing! instructions but each are just as hard to find. I even collect instruction variations. Obviously, instructions for all of the rarity 9 and 10 game are the harder to find than the games themselves. Having said that, here's some instructions that I think are really hard to find that aren't 9's or 10's: Black and white Ram it instructions on thin paper. Panda instructions Konami instructions Up n' down Chase the Chuckwagon Tomarc the Barbarian Motocrass Racer Subterranea Guardian Track and Field Silver Label Gravitar instructions The black and white variations of Moonsweeper, Demon Attack, and Atlantis that came with blue labeled carts As for price, I've seen the above instructions sell for $15 to $50 but most sell for closer to $15. Rarity 9 and 10 instructions could sell for anywhere from $30 to $300 depending on the game.
shining slade #3 Posted July 4, 2004 I've got these that were not too easy to find: Boing! Asterix Cosmic Corridor Busy Police (I actually got lucky on this one as it came in a lot of manuals that I'd won, but it was inside another manual) Springer Track & Field Up N' Down I'd have to say that most of the Zellers titles are hard to find manuals for. AtariLeaf #4 Posted July 4, 2004 I've seen lots of Zellers carts over the years (no suprise since I'm a Canuckle-head ) but I've NEVER seen any manuals for Zellers games. I wouldn't mind seeing pics if anyone has them.
