Sega Ages #1 Posted July 8, 2004 Pretty awesome http://asp.tectoy.com.br/videogame/index.asp Brand new Genesis, Master System, Dreamcast, Saturn consoles. I think some of them have games built-in to the system too. Anyone know how best to order these internationally?
Bratwurst #2 Posted July 8, 2004 Why would you want one? White plastic gets dirtier and uglier over time, and these are all likely PAL format anyway.
Sega Ages #3 Posted July 8, 2004 My TV can accept PAL signals. Quite a lot of TVs can... And "it gets dirty too easy" isn't a legit reason for not buying such cool gear. Sorry
Lemmi #4 Posted July 8, 2004 I'll take a Master System Handy, and a see through Saturn
SteveW #5 Posted July 8, 2004 Does that portable Master System have a cartridge slot, or are the games built-in? I can't read Spanish/Portuguese to find out.
Bratwurst #6 Posted July 8, 2004 My TV can accept PAL signals. Quite a lot of TVs can... And "it gets dirty too easy" isn't a legit reason for not buying such cool gear. Sorry Do you have a lot of PAL software to justify it? White plastic yellows with age! Evil! Evil I tells ya! To each their own of course, I've always felt everything 'from' Brazil was overpriced for what it was. Not sure if they stick it to importers because they feel they can or if it's just rampant inflation.
chrisbid #7 Posted July 8, 2004 i dont think the SMS or Mega Drive matter, those transparent Saturns though look great

liveinabin #10 Posted July 8, 2004 I like that Saturn. And it's PAL as well - tempting
Hydian #11 Posted July 8, 2004 Brazil is PAL-M or something (and 110v.) I dunno if it is compatable with euro PAL. They use NTSC carts, so it may not be. That 72 included game SMS is tempting to try on my NTSC TV.
Draikar #12 Posted July 8, 2004 I hate PAL but I want that MegaDrive, Can this be imported to the US ?
video game addict #13 Posted July 8, 2004 Oh yes lovely, beautiful WHITE!!! But for how long... That Saturn does look cool however!
Draikar #14 Posted July 8, 2004 Found this other site that sells that Saturn, no price but they said "PAL-M System Fully compatible with american Sega Saturn games".
Hydian #15 Posted July 8, 2004 Right, they use US NTSC media. As for the yellowing...that all depends on the dyes in the plastic or something like that. Even the SNES's don't all turn yellow and I haven't heard of any dreamcasts turning yellow yet.
Trip_Cannon #16 Posted July 8, 2004 Wow! How do you order this stuff?
Lost Monkey #17 Posted July 8, 2004 Found this other site that sells that Saturn, no price but they said "PAL-M System Fully compatible with american Sega Saturn games". I seem to remember disclaimers in an eBay auction for the TecToy systems that said they would only display in B&W on an NTSC television... That Saturn looks identical to the Derby Skeleton Saturn I have:
Stingray #18 Posted July 8, 2004 Wow, have those SNESs been out in the sun or something? I bought mine new way back when and it's still the original pale grey color. No yellowing at all -S

eldunko #21 Posted July 8, 2004 Well I'd assume since they're Brazilian, you'd have to order them from a Brazilian store, or Brazilian website or go to Brazil.

nester #24 Posted July 8, 2004 Well thank you Tec Toy for keeping the Sega Master System alive! The newest games they made for it were in about 1997, which is almost a decade longer than the Master System was supposed to last.
Godzilla #25 Posted July 9, 2004 Man all I want to know is how to buy this stuff :-)
