Starcat #1 Posted July 14, 2004 Hi Folks ! Planning of Euro Jag Fest 2004 has begun, check out the E-JagFest Page to get onto the "interest" list, if you are interested in attending. Regards, Lars. http://www.e-jagfest.de
justclaws #2 Posted July 14, 2004 Hi Folks ! Planning of Euro Jag Fest 2004 has begun, check out the E-JagFest Page to get onto the "interest" list, if you are interested in attending. Regards, Lars. http://www.e-jagfest.de I intend to come, I just hope information on the venue is better this time. Photos in advance. Information on accommodation. That would all help. The sooner a date is known, the better, then I can book some holiday for the day before, for security, and start saving for the journey. I may not have a car by then in Netherlands, so that's another factor. I want to go, though! Cheers, JustClaws.
LinkoVitch #3 Posted July 14, 2004 I would love to come, so finances permitting and also the date etc, I MAY be there, having a naff year of it so far :/ Knowing the date as early as possible will help, as booking easy jet early makes it VERY cheap
Starcat #4 Posted July 15, 2004 Hi ! Great to hear that It would be awesome if you guys could make it. I missed you, Justclaws, on the last two fests. So it would be great if you could make it this time. Maybe you can even bring a video camera with you and do some taping this time. And Linkovitch, would be great if you could come as well. So we could finally meet in person. I think that would be really great, it would mean that there are more developers attending a ejagfest than ever before... That could mean some real great exchange of ideas. I will update the site as soon as more infos are known. Regards, Lars.
justclaws #5 Posted July 15, 2004 Hello, I would love to come, so finances permitting and also the date etc, I MAY be there, having a naff year of it so far :/ I know the feeling... an endless series of surprising expenses! Knowing the date as early as possible will help, as booking easy jet early makes it VERY cheap Easyjet to where? A venue close to a cheap airline would indeed help! How about the next €Jagfest in a destination served by Easyjet! :-) So far, Nice seems to be only place we can all fly cheaply to from all of Stanstead, Newcastle, Amsterdam, but still not from Munich. Maybe Ryanair from Frankfurt Hahn (Hahn, long way from Frankfurt!) still then does not have a good destination. We need Easy-Jag airlines! I still would like to see a Dutch €Jagfest too, how about it you guys? Cheers, JustClaws.
LinkoVitch #6 Posted July 15, 2004 Hello, I would love to come, so finances permitting and also the date etc, I MAY be there, having a naff year of it so far :/ I know the feeling... an endless series of surprising expenses! Yeah I think most people call them Children Knowing the date as early as possible will help, as booking easy jet early makes it VERY cheap Easyjet to where? A venue close to a cheap airline would indeed help! I was planning on flying into Schipol airport in Amsterdam and then catching a train to Germany. Unless there were people going from Amsterdam/Holland area that I could cadge a lift from etc. How about the next €Jagfest in a destination served by Easyjet! :-) heh, EasyFest I still would like to see a Dutch €Jagfest too, how about it you guys? I am most deffinately up for an Amsterdam based JagFest (check the tag line ), perhaps we could see if the hotel "The Heart of Amsterdam" has function rooms? :)
justclaws #7 Posted July 15, 2004 heh, EasyFest Are you talking about the Amsterdam red-light district? I am most deffinately up for an Amsterdam based JagFest (check the tag line ), perhaps we could see if the hotel "The Heart of Amsterdam" has function rooms? :) OK, so I'm guessing you ARE talking about the red-light district! It might certainly attract more visitors, and of course we could play a rolling demo of the... the... you know the scene, in the American Hero demo, as a kind of mood setter. Software can be supplied, bring your own hardware, that kind of €Jagfest eh? I'm shocked... and you a married man! At least we'd be sure Tyrant would attend. Cheers, JustClaws. Tyrant #9 Posted July 19, 2004 At least we'd be sure Tyrant would attend. This is an outrage, I demand an apology . I would never go near one, never in a million years I tell ya! Well, unless perhaps she happened to cater to my specific tastes
justclaws #10 Posted July 19, 2004 This is an outrage, I demand an apology . This bloke can offer you one - http://www.apology.me.uk I would never go near one, never in a million years I tell ya! Well, unless perhaps she happened to cater to my specific tastes She? Well I was thinking you'd enjoy browsing, that's all. In Munich, I was always amused that the technology area was also the <um> adult hobby area. It was computer shop, food shop, erotic dancing bar, then computer shop, another food shop, and another erotic dancing bar. What more could a geek want. Computers, food and <um> dancing. justclaws #11 Posted July 19, 2004 I wrote "erotic" and meant "exotic. Freudian slip I guess, and no edit button! :-( Cheers, JustClaws.
Starcat #12 Posted July 20, 2004 Hi folks ! I'm getting more and more busy again lately, so sorry for the late reply. There now is a mailing list on the e-jagfest page for all of you who like to be sure, not to miss any important news about starcat dev or e-jagfest. As soon as dates are known they will be announced on that mailing list, on the e-jagfest page and other often visited public places, like AtariAge, JI2 etc. Regards, Lars. atarianer2003 #13 Posted July 20, 2004 Maybe I'll come BTW: There is an error on the JagFest-Homepage If you choose your language (german or english), there comes an error page. There is a "" instead of "/" in both links Mike
