Cuttle Cart 2 ?s

Recommended Posts

Ok,

I was a beta tester of this thing and performed my last update in October - I know a few things have changed and I am getting stuck trying to refresh my carts.

I have a 2600 homebrew that the author wanted me to test. I cant get this to show up on the CC2 menu to load - its a 4K rom w/no bank switching type stuff - just a basic cart - How do I get this thing recognized?

You need to either manually add it to the menu list or download it over the serial connection. Instructions on how do it is in the manual. :)

Turns out I have a bigger problem that I contacted Chad directly on - Im getting some weird results but specifically whenever I try to select a game I get a msg saying 'Cannot find bin' - which has never happened!

Turns out there was an OS upgrade since the last time I ran things so after performing the update I can run normal roms but cant seem to get my new rom included in the list.

What file do I include my new rom into?

You add it to the MENU.TXT file, then you run the CC2Menu.exe file on it to generate the MENU.CC2 file.

You did read the instructions, right? :P

I RTFM but got confused on the different programs again - being a beta tester I had a bunch of old stuff lying around my directories that I hadnt touched in 9 months :o - I think Im on the path to success now :)
