Albert #2 Posted July 17, 2004 Was it shipped via airmail or surface? If it was airmail, then yes, it should have arrived by now. However, surface mail is quite slow and can easily take a month or longer. I have had airmail packages take more than a month to arrive, although that is unusual. ..Al

Callipygous #4 Posted July 17, 2004 Had good luck with a recent trade from the UK. Both packages took exactly 1 week to arrive via airmail. Was a little on the high side, over $6 to ship a single cart. Registered would be considerably more and is actually slower because of the paperwork required along the way. ATARIPITBULL #5 Posted July 17, 2004 I have sold about 4 items to people in England and the fastest any of the items made it to the buyers was 5 weeks.
deathtrappomegranate #6 Posted July 18, 2004 For shipping from the US to the UK, for light items, eg single carts, Letter Post Airmail is often the lowest cost option, and usually arrives in a week or a little less. Slightly heavier (but <4lbs) items can go Global Priority, and also arrive quickly (and they give you free boxes or envelopes too). The only incident that I've had involving USPS transatlantic shipping was when a guy said that my package had been returned to him destroyed. However, he'd previously tried to welch on the deal, telling me that the only valuable item in the lot "failed my pre-dispatch test"...(translation - he'd had a better offer after the auction ended). I suspect that USPS was not to blame for that problem. Never got the cart though Don't even start me on UPS
