Zeus #1 Posted July 18, 2004 Just wanted to get a second opinion on this one. The seller states that it is Atari 2600, but the picture appears to show bevelling making me think it is the less valuable colecovision version. Am I right or am I seeing things? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...8117212519&rd=
Mindfield #2 Posted July 18, 2004 Yup, that's Coleco. Don't need the bevelling to tell: Parker labels are gold on Colecovision, and silver on Atari.
VidGameKing #3 Posted July 18, 2004 actually the picture looks silver from my point of veiw, and the beviling along the bottom looks square
Mindfield #4 Posted July 19, 2004 If it were the Atari version you wouldn't be able to see the slight ridge along the right side of the cart in that pic. Plus, it's not generally a dark gold; it's a little washed out in that pic but it's definitely gold. If there were a silver cart beside it, you'd note a marked difference. However, you can compare it to the scan here.

Lost Monkey #6 Posted July 19, 2004 I think it is an Atari cart as well.. I do not see the pronounced CV bevel, nor does it look like a gold cart on either monitor I have viewed it on...
video game addict #7 Posted July 19, 2004 Looks like Atari to me too, I don't see the gold, it looked silver on my end too. Also it has the definite Atari PB casing not CV.. What's up with that code in auction though, no right click Is it this crap.. <script language=JavaScript type=text/javascript> <!-- document.oncontextmenu = function(){return false} if(document.layers) { window.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN); window.onmousedown = function(e){ if(e.target==document)return false; } } else { document.onmousedown = function(){return false} } //--> </SCRIPT> pic below definite Atari case.. Saikyo #8 Posted July 19, 2004 Yes the lable is silver and the game is definatly for the 2600 the cart shape is right and matches the scan on AA perfectly. Its just the lighting that makes it look a bit silvered thats all.
Saikyo #9 Posted July 19, 2004 Argh I meant tinted not silvered! WHEN WILL THE EDIT COME BACK!!!!????
