Yeah but the gameplay wasn't at all improved from the 2600 version. Still a nice game except for a little dodgy fielding control scheme. The batter-pitcher interface is sweet.

 

The 2600 version is fun on the Activision Anthology for the Gameboy Advance. Love portable baseball

Played another game and this time I rocked the 6th inning, even had a grand slam. I only gave up 1 homer in the ninth making the final score 23-1.

Played a double header Wed night, & just finished one game. Won all.

 

Wed: 15-2 & 18-4.

 

Thurs: 34-9. I scored my last 3 runs on a rocket hit over the left field fence straight down the 3rd base line, never losing altitude. It was beautiful.

 

Good game, but I dont like that the computer isnt "smart" enough to run you back to base, & no "hot box."

I would like to get in on this HSC thing although I'm out of the running for season points. My son may be interested as well and in fact has a hell of a lot more time to play than I do. :-)

There are several cups and things to get in on, not just the overall points race. We would love more people. It would be moderately easy to get into the top 5 in a few weeks time if you get a few games you and your son rule at.
