Did I get a good deal?

Recommended Posts

I just bought a Combat 2 cart for the 2600. I spent $95 bucks for it. Did I spend wise or should I be laughed at. Just wondering.

well, I have been collecting carts for about two years now and I have a couple of good one's that I have found out in the "wild" but if this one is as rare as it seems it will certainly be the best of my collection thus far.

I think like most people finding the carts at fleas and thrift shops are much more gratifying than picking up the carts on ebay, but I think no matter how I got this one, it is certainly a nice addition to my collection.

Thanks for the responses.

At first I thought you were talking about normal Combat (not the sequel)... I was quite shocked to say the least

ok, seems nobody is gonna tell ... i'll do.

combat2 was sold for 30 bucks, but it was limited. so you could not get one anymore the regular way. (europeans had the occasion to get the last 50 copies). purely seeing it that way, you paid the triple.

on the other hand, i've seen this one on ebay for more than 150$. seeing it that way, your copy was still cheap.

at the end, i'd say it was a good deal if you enjoy having and playing the game.

You beat me to it, Fish... I think this is absolutely the best way to judge if you've spent too much on a game or not. It should all really just come down to whether you are happy with it or not.
