I've got problems running the game from Z26 myself. It chugs at a third of its normal speed.

I have no problems running Midnight Magic on my six-switch (not heavy) 2600, other than when I can't get the cartridge to fit. The later (dark red label) cartridges need to be forced into a six-switches' slot because the cartridge is just a shade too wide. Make sure you get the cartrdige in there firmly.

I figured it out it is because the prongs are broken off and they were used to open the dust protector on the 6er so now i need a new mid magic

A new midnight magic?

Depending on how partial you are to keeping that one intact...you can always remove the dust cover door mech on the carts. But you have to open the carts to do this and that will require some slight damage the label involving the screw. You can remove the label with a hairdryer until the glue underneath softens enough to let you take the label off.

Then open the cart and remove the dust door and spring from the cart.

The pcb of the cart will stay in place without the door.

Meant to tell you...that I have also been able to remove the dust door with some force without removing the screw...but it does stress that cart an awful lot...

Oh well..you can at least play it now...so enjoy!!!
