Dead Rush is Dead?!?!?

Recommended Posts

Activision has cancelled one of the few games that I was looking forward to. I know that there are a few Activision employess on these forums, Did the game just plain suck?? Or were there other reasons for it being cancelled? Any chance of another publisher picking it up?

That actually looks intresting. We need another zombie game (preferbly a FPS!!) I'm guessing it just sucked, developers have been doing that recently. Full Throttle 2 was cancelled, but I dont think anyone expected it to be as good as the original.

Grand Theft Auto:Zombie Edition.

Now that would be cool!!!

I just hope Dead Rush was far enough along to get a release from another publisher. It has got to be better then the other recent budget releases.

I read the press release. Activision said that it didn't look like "a big proposition for us". Basically, they didn't think that it would sell a million copies per console (GameCube, Xbox, PS2, and GBA - and possibly PS1) so they gave up, just a few months before they were finished. I really hope that another publisher picks this game title up. And releases the GC version. I want this freakin' game!
