elviticus #1 Posted July 30, 2004 Does this exist for 2600? I've never seen it... but I read (I think in DP guide) that it does?
NovaXpress #2 Posted July 30, 2004 There are even artist renderings of the 2600 screen. Most seem to feel that it existed but there's been no sign of it.

Nukey Shay #4 Posted July 30, 2004 Yup...it was a vaporware title back in the day. IIRC, it didn't even get as far as a phony screenshot. Such a game -might- be possible on the 2600 (a similar game is 2600's MouseTrap)...but it would have to take some serious liberties to deal with the detail necessary for the bonus objects and characters. Ultimately, it wouldn't play very much like Ladybug.

NovaXpress #6 Posted July 30, 2004 I've seen Coleco's fake screenshot that they released to promote the game, it looked a lot like the DP hoax.
Godzilla #7 Posted July 31, 2004 if you go here, there are a treasure trove of scans of ads (look for the words 'unreleased') and all the coleco ones have screen shots. Based on how much the recently discovered looping looks like it's picture from colecos ad, I'd bet it's at least probable that all the other coleco titles with mock up screen shots like that may exist somewhere. Sure would be cool to see 2600 frenzy, or wild west, or rocky or etc. :-)
