figgler #1 Posted August 5, 2004 An interesting parallel: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...me=STRK:MEWN:IT I've had a big craving for controllers lately . This QucikShot is used and unfortunately doesn't work. Anyway, I contacted the seller Hi,I received both controllers, unfortunatley I have found the QS with the two grip handles does not work at all. Button inputs do not initiate any commands within the games. Were these items tested before sold? I remember the auction stating they were in excellent condition. Please get back to me. Thanks then Hi I check everything before I list it.I am not sure why it would not work but I will give you back your money and mailing cost.I will need the controller back could you please mail it to me and I iwll pay for that also if you could let me know what you pay. I am very sorry about all this I don't know why it does not work but I wil for sure repay you for it. Thank you very much. Who's listening?
Mindfield #2 Posted August 5, 2004 Well, I for one can say that I've had a few good transactions with spongebobsgirl04. She's pretty good to deal with, though I've never had a problem with her.
SimonTemplar #3 Posted August 5, 2004 If the seller is willing to give you a refund and refund your shipping costs , I don`t see what the problem is. And she sure deserves a positive feedback after you receive your refund. Just my 2 cents...
figgler #4 Posted August 5, 2004 Oh there's no problem. My intention is to praise her for the above-and-beyond service she's dealing out
BTHOTU #5 Posted August 5, 2004 yeah you wouldnt get a refund from me if I tested it before it left.... I have this thing about people trying to return stuff I tested as non working. I usually ship UPS just so the stuff has free insurance. incase something breaks in shipping. Maybe for an atari ager I would take a return but thats it. Very nice of the seller to pay the shipping back to her as well...
Mendon #6 Posted August 6, 2004 Extremely fair and honest seller. Offering the refund AND to pay for shipping is really going the distance. Incredible!! Refunds on shipping always leaves me in a quandry: If you go to Best Buy and purchase something, the cost of your gas to drive there is sort of like the postage you pay when you win something from eBay. If the item from Best Buy doesn't work, you drive back to BB to return/exchange it. You don't demand that BB pay for your gas to return it, thats just part of the deal and its sort of like paying return postage on a non-working eBay item. But yet.... it also doesn't seem right that you pay $5, $6, $7 or more for shipping and then have to turn around and pay for shipping again if you have to return it. Its no fault of your own if you received a broken item but yet it might cost you quite a few $$$ just to try out an item and find out its broken. Maybe its just eBay, I don't know. I only know I don't feel Best Buy owes me gas money when I have to return an item yet it bugs the hell out of me to have to pay double postage for the priviledge of just trying out a busted eBay item. Now that I've confused everyone... Mendon
