StanJr #2 Posted October 8, 2001 Its very fitting! Pretty cool, dude. I'm trying to decide on a custom image for myself, Pitfall Harry there is cool and all, but I want something different!
AtariDude #3 Posted October 8, 2001 It is a very nice image and it is perfect for this forum. As for myself, I was thinking of using a multi-colored Atari Fuji as my avatar like the kind that I have on my personal web page but I decided to use the photograph from the "About myself" section of my web page instead. StanJr #9 Posted October 10, 2001 Sort of, you see as a kid I grew up on Spider-man comics. I learned to read thanks to Spider-man comics. So in a way, Spidey and I are both StanJr's. We were both forged by Stan "the Man" Lee. Spidey's the coolest! Stan
+Cafeman #10 Posted October 10, 2001 That is a very good avatar, 70s. As are pretty much all of you guys' avatars. Rhindle, that is the red dragon in Adventure I assume? Is there a red dragon in Adventure? My avatar pretty much sums me up.

Rhindle only appears in games 2 and 3... and depending on the random placement, you might not even find him in 3 (Which is awesome, because he's really fast!) I've gone by a number of nicknames too, the last one being ManInBlak, which I used to use on IRC all the time. Since I retired from IRC though, I decided to change my nickname, since I figured I had changed enough to warrant it. (That was a time in my life that I'd rather put behind me for a number of reasons) Of course, my avatar has absolutely nothing to do with my nickname... I just happen to really like Wizard of Wor --Zero
+Cafeman #12 Posted October 11, 2001 I thought that you were quoting from Adventure's manual, but since I don't have it, wasn't too sure! I can't recall seeing the red dragon ... I've been Cafeman since I first logged onto the net. I was actually "[email protected]" at first. Keeping the same ID for so long has simplified things, although I get IMs from people I don't recall. And the quote is straight out of the instruction manual. I have used several names over the years (usually having different names for different uses), but recently kind of settled on Rhindle for just about everything. -Philip R. Frey a.k.a.
