FireTiger #3 Posted August 10, 2004 Ah thanks, how about those boxed games? I think I'll open barnyard blaster... but the Sentinal?
+Mitch #4 Posted August 10, 2004 Sure, open them both up. Sentinel is more fun than Barnyard Blaster anyway. (at least in my opinion) Mitch

Mot #7 Posted August 11, 2004 How about: Shooting Arcade (Proto) LGun from: 2600:XE Light Gun page and: 7800: XE Light Gun page
SS #8 Posted August 11, 2004 Sentinel is more fun than Barnyard Blaster anyway. 2600 Sentinel is more fun than the 7800 version, too.
rogueleader #9 Posted August 11, 2004 AA would seem to disagree with this page on rarity. Higher up it says that Sentinel is one of the most rare games yet AA gives it only a 3. Water Ski is listed as 5 as well.
rogueleader #10 Posted August 11, 2004 That would be the page mentioned in Mitch's first post. Quote button didn't work.

Sentinel is actually rather easy to find here in the UK... could have made a killing selling it off highly to you Americans years ago
FireTiger #12 Posted August 11, 2004 7800 sentinal is pal only right? (looking at rarity guide)
SS #13 Posted August 12, 2004 7800 sentinal is pal only right? (looking at rarity guide) It was originally only released in the UK, AFAIK. There was a NTSC prototype completed, however. ResQsoft is selling boxed NTSC conversions for $30.

The NWCGE booth, at this years CGE Expo, will have a few NTSC Sentinels, complete with original box and instructions (and S/W PAL versions) for sale.. along with 7800 Klax and a few other surprises Stop by and say hi. -Lee

tyranthraxus #16 Posted August 14, 2004 Was there ever an offical 7800 light gun in development or a prototype found?
+Mitch #17 Posted August 14, 2004 Was there ever an offical 7800 light gun in development or a prototypefound? The red G1 light gun (same as the XG1 except the color) was going to be marketed for the 2600 ansd 7800. I don't have the actual gun but I do have the box for one. The gun was a prototype only.
