DS and PSP release dates

Gamestop is taking pre-orders for the end of November. But who knows if thats right. I've read a lot of places that the DS will be out for the christmas season. However on the other hand Sony hasn't released any date at all and gamestop isn't taking pre-orders on it yet so I think the PSP might be a while before its released.

They better pull off a miracle then, we can't even get the development hardware (if there is any, besides a few protos) yet.

I'm totally hoping for a Christmas release of the DS. The PSP I can care less about. But the DS is what I am most hoping for. Nintendo says it'll be this year. I'm skeptical, but wishful. Hopefully it'll coincide with my 20% off Birthday Discount. This year I used it to get $20 off a GBA SP. This year, hopefully it'll be $40 off a DS.. Or less depending on how much it costs. (I'm guessing no more than $200.)

 

I just wish Nintendo WOULD give us a date already. And a final release lineup.

Yeah, only 3 months ahead is really sort of pushing it. I would imagine they and Sony will both start an advertising blitz with the new TV season in late September.

Current speculation is Japanese and US releases in November...
