LamontCranston #1 Posted August 13, 2004 Hi! About a month ago I put up a Han Solo in stormtrooper disguise mail in action figure and I said I would periodically sell off my other power of the force and vintage star wars figures. As it stands now, I think I'll keep my figures but I don't have space for my ships any more I have a falcon x-wing and some other vintage/power of the force ships I'm going to sell. The first one I'm posting is my Shadows Of The Empire Dash Rendar's Ship. It doesn't have it's box anymore but it's in great condition. If anyone is interested either send me a PM and I'll PM you a picture of it or post a response here and I'll post the picture up right here. The shipping is based on USPS rates. I'm really look to sell this stuff, but if you really wanna trade the I'll acept: DVD, Sega Saturn, PS2, Atari Jaguar, and Super 8 film, trades. Regards, Lamont

Susuwatari #3 Posted August 13, 2004 Maybe you should try eBay?
LamontCranston #4 Posted August 13, 2004 I don't have a seller's account on ebay. And when I looked into getting one they required a credit card number (which I do not have since I do not own a credit card) or your social security number which I will absolutly not give away no matter how secure a web site may be. Unless there is a way to create a seller's account on ebay without giving away either of those two pieces of information I have to use forums like these. Just so you know I'm not attacking you with this long winded explaination, I'm just clarifying becuse I've been asked this a lot on this forum. And actually any insight on the seller's account thing would be helpful.
tiggerthehun #5 Posted August 13, 2004 You might be better off holding onto it - I just did a completed auction search for loose outriders, and they're going for 5-10 bucks... 15-20 with a box - and 15-25 with Dash. SW stuff seems to be at a low right now - you might want to wait till prices come back up... well, if they do, that is. Best of luck tho!
Susuwatari #6 Posted August 13, 2004 Try for November or early December when people are in buying mood for Christmas. Then you look into consignment auction where someone else will sell your goods, keep a percentage for the sale and you get the rest of the money. LamontCranston #7 Posted August 14, 2004 Thanks for the help. I wasn't looking for much for this ship only around 10 bucks plus shipping and in my experience in selling this stuff, people only seem interested in the vintage Star Wars stuff it's not that star wars pricing is at a low it's just that then new stuff is not in as much demand I could probably make more monet selling one of my vintage figures rather than selling my huge power of the force millenium falcon. And to be completely honest I'm not looking for a pretty penny for these newer ships I just want them out of my house and they're too valuable to just throw out even though they're not quite as valuable as the vintage stuff. That having been said anyone interested? I'll take trades too, remember.
tyranthraxus #8 Posted August 16, 2004 You should try on one of the SW collecting boards. I'm sure if you offer some bargain prices you will sell out. Or wait until the DVD release is out, prices will start to climb back up, this Xmas should be the best time to sell in years, probably only to be exceeded when the last movie is out. After that I can only see SW toys to decline a bit and probably stabilize without a new film to create fad collectors.
Dan Iacovelli #9 Posted August 16, 2004 heres a link to starwars price guide I found online: http://www.rebelscum.com/wedge/priceguide.asp it might help you a bit
EricDeLee #10 Posted August 16, 2004 social security number which I will absolutly not give away no matter how secure a web site may be It's not really like a person can OWN you by knowing your social security number. Plus, the info is out there everywhere as it is. I deal with SSNs in the military on a daily basis... it's important to safeguard them, but you can trust secure sites. LamontCranston #11 Posted August 17, 2004 Ok, well I'm not getting any offers for the outrider I see. Here are all the power of the force ships I have to offer once these sell out I will consider selling my vintage ships. If there is any interest for them I will post the pictures up here or PM them if I'm PMed with interest. If after a while I see there is no interest here then I'll try my luck somewhere else. Then If I decide to sell my vintage ships I'll go here first because I did get intersest for my vintage Star Wars stuff. Anyway if there's any interest in the following things to buy from me or trade just post a response or PM me: 1) Milleninum Falcon 2) X-Wing 3) Boba Fett's Ship 4) Dash Rendar's Outrider 5) Speeder Bike with Luke 6) Speder Bike with Scput Trooper Let me know. By the way, while I appreciate all the help that's been posted on here, please just post responses if you're intersted in what I'm offering or post questions if you're considering buying or trading. Thanks!
