Cybergoth #27 Posted May 8, 2008 It should be top five best CAPCOM series of all time. Just between all of the Mega Man and Resident Evil games I couldn't choose. Mega Man is easy to resolve into one spot, just choose the "Mega Man Anniversary Collection".
Rybags #28 Posted May 8, 2008 1. Black Dragon/Tiger 2. 1941/Counter Attack Aside from 1942 (which I wouldn't rate), I think that's about all I've played of theirs. Black Dragon still has large playability value, although for some reason under MAME you get stuck during the third level.
PressureCooker2600 #29 Posted May 9, 2008 I need to petition Capcom for a new ORIGINAL Mega Man game. Nothing beats the original blue bomber. Fuck all that Mega Man X and Battle Network crap.
Joe C. #30 Posted June 22, 2008 I know you only asked for 5, but I have too many favorites...6. Ghosts N Goblins (arcade) 7. Tiger Road (arcade---so tough, but so rewarding!) 8. 1941 (arcade) 9. Strider (Genesis) 10. Vulgus (arcade) Agreed, too many good ones here. Id like to see a list of all the options
Cybergoth #31 Posted August 17, 2008 UPDATED AGAIN! 1. Super Ghouls'n'Ghosts / Demons Crest 2. Breath of Fire I / II 3. Resident Evil Remake 4. Zack & Wiki 5. Onimusha Tactics
Cybergoth #32 Posted November 12, 2008 After playing another half a dozen Capcom games, mostly PSX, I have to slightly adjust my list again: 1. Super Ghouls'n'Ghosts / Demons Crest 2. Breath of Fire I / II / IV 3. Resident Evil Remake / 2 4. Zack & Wiki 5. Onimusha Tactics BTW: BoF III is missing on purpose. I quit playing it after 35 hours, when all the sucking mini games kicked in. IV is miles better, fixing everything that was wrong with III, including a much better storyline! Cybergoth #37 Posted June 26, 2009 Time for another update of my list, since meanwhile I played Onimusha 1-3 (amongst many other Capcom games) and I even prefer them over the Resident Evil series now. (Can't wait for the Onimusha movie to arrive! ) 1. Super Ghouls'n'Ghosts / Demons Crest 2. Breath of Fire I / II / IV 3. Onimusha Warlords / Demon Siege / Tactics 4. Resident Evil Remake / 2 5. Zack & Wiki BTW: Onimusha 2 is missing on purpose. It's okay, but not on par with the Samanosuke games
KIWASABI #38 Posted June 27, 2009 1. Resident Evil 4 2. Mercs 3. Strider 4. Trojan (since no one else mentioned it I figured I might as well) 5. Bionic Commando -Adam P.S. Mega Man sucks; only being able to shoot in two directions is horrendously bad design.
