Blackjack #1 Posted August 21, 2004 Ran across this on eBay and never heard of it. Anybody familiar with it?
thx1138 #2 Posted August 21, 2004 I threw mine out earlier this year, as it was faulty, and seeed beyond repair. What I remember of it, it was about the same sort of gameplay as a Video Pac 7000 (odyssey 2), and looked the way of those very early consoles, which have just 'evolved' from simple pong clones, and now take cartrtridges. I might have a photo of it hosted online somewhere, I'm, not sure.
vintagegamer89 #3 Posted August 21, 2004 I think I may have one. Any idea where to get games for one?
thx1138 #4 Posted August 22, 2004 I was sorting out my eBay room, and aslo clearing the last of my upstairs retro storage, and I found my Novex, I think it's okay - it was another console I was thinking of. Annoyingly the only cart that I have for it, is the damned bat and ball (pong clone style) one shown on the box, - the box is dog rough, the console seems okay though. The controllers are a sort of cross between original Atari controllers, and original Videopac (odyseey 2) controllers. I must have had this thing 4 years, without fidning games for it in the wild. christianscott27 #7 Posted August 22, 2004 looks like another version of what i picked up in new zealand, has some generic " TV programmable game" name. i have a few carts for mine and they're all multi game variations on the basic pong theme. the console i have is slightly different but the cart looks the same and its called a "supersportic". whats cool about these carts is that they have sunken pot holes right on the board where you can adjust the paddle size. pretty much a useless system other than as a "hey look at this" thing, whos up for a TV game of "gridball"? eric_ruck #8 Posted August 23, 2004 I have an old cartridge pong thing whose name escapes me now, but the company name rings familiar...remember this is from the 70's: Internet Corp. Worth having it just for that. Maybe Al Gore was involved. Eric
