Rare unused atari chip???

I have a whole bunch of these and can't find any info on them.

Does anybody know anything about them?

That is a Rockwell Floppy Disk controller chip - part number R6765P. That is a Rockwell logo. Atari parts generally have a CO##### format chip code on them also. Couldn't find much more info on the chip you have but your google possibilities should open up now

Are they worth a lot? I got like 15 of them for a penny a piece.

Really couldn't say. I doubt it but you never know as it may be used in Commodore or some other early computer disk drive. I didn't spend much more time researching it once I discovered the company from the logo.

Well, that's because the guy's I got them from couldn't identify them.

 

Since you were able to identify those ones, do you think you can help me with these?

The bottom chip is defiantly Motorola and I can't remember what the top chip is made by. Both looks like they may be controller chips as well.

A little more info...

 

The VGC7205 is a CPU. A version of it was used in the Atari System II arcade machines.
