My Heavy Sixer died...

Yes, it happened yesterday, I was about to play a game of Kangaroo, and then all of a sudden, the title screen popped only then to be proceeded by gibberish that filled the screen. I don't know what to say but to say it's dead.

 

I'm thinking of replacing it with a 4-switch woody, however...

She's not dead. She just needs an operation. Probably just one of the chips needs replacing. A six switcher or four switcher would make a good donor; both have socketed chips making them easy to replace.

I got a heavy sixer in the shop I hope to get it back in working order. When I got it was DOA, the guy that is working on it likes old games systems.
